Get ready to mark your calendars as 2024 is set to host a star-studded line-up of concerts across the nation. From iconic pop sensations to legendary comedians, there’s something for everyone.  While some events have been confirmed and are generating waves of excitement, there are also whispers of some highly anticipated tours.

As we near the end of the year, here’s a closer look at what we’re expecting to see for 2024. Start to plan your corporate events or nights out with friends with a clearer picture of what the year has in store.

Eminem – THE REAL SLIM SHADY

Eminem, the rap god himself, is set to make a triumphant return to the stage. Known for his lightning-fast lyrics, raw emotion and powerful performances, Eminem’s concerts are unforgettable. Ever since his scintillating performance with Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Mary J. Blige and Kendrick Lamar at the 2022 NFL Super Bowl, hip-hoppers around the world have been eager for news of a tour. The ‘Real Slim Shady’ has not toured the UK since 2018.

His shock appearances at Ed Sheeran’s show in Detroit and Terence Crawford’s ring walk last month have fuelled the rumour mill with the likelihood of a tour coming soon. After performing his top hit ‘Lose Yourself’, fans are on tenterhooks for an announcement to be made.

We’re yet to have confirmation from the Marshall Mathers camp but 2024 could also be the year he makes his debut on the Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury. Following the whispers of him potentially being at Worthy Farm alongside his good friend Elton John in June, we’re convinced 2024 is the year.

Drake – THE WAIT IS OVER?

Since releasing ‘Search & Rescue’ in April this year, Drake has been on tour with 21 Savage, which is due to come to an end in October, meaning a world tour is on the cards. Nothing has been confirmed as of yet, however, fans are highly speculating the pair will make their way across the Atlantic.

The hip-hop superstar has now teased his fans twice with his new album ‘For All The Dogs’. On Wednesday 26th July, Drake told crowds at Madison Square Garden that he was dropping an album in ‘the next couple weeks’. This has sent social media into meltdown as rumoured featured artists include Beyoncé, Alicia Keys and Jorja Smith.

His last performance in the UK was a surprise appearance alongside Future at Wireless Festival 2021 and the last UK tour was in 2019, so fans are well overdue a visit from the Canadian star.

Rihanna – RETURN TO THE STAGE

Robyn R. Fenty, otherwise known as Rihanna, has been teasing her return to the stage since her Super Bowl performance in February where she revealed she was pregnant with her second child. With this being the reason, her 2023 tour didn’t come to fruition. We’re hoping 2024 could be the year she announces her return.

It’s been over seven years since the nine-time Grammy winner released her last album and ‘The Navy’ are going crazy on social media wanting to hear any updates regarding her long-awaited R9 album. The Barbadian superstar has hinted at new music telling Vogue earlier this year “I want it to be this year”. Since she hasn’t toured the UK since the release of her album ‘Anti’ in 2016, fans in the UK should be ready and waiting for her to make a return to the stage.

Olivia Rodrigo – GUTS

As excitement builds for Olivia Rodrigo’s world tour, fans are doubly thrilled by the upcoming release of her new album ‘Guts’, set to be released on September 8th. The singer’s raw and relatable lyrics have resonated with listeners, making her live performances a highly awaited event. With the promise of 11 new tracks alongside her newly released ‘Vampire’, the prospect of experiencing her emotional performance in person becomes even more enticing.

The 20-year-old, three-time Grammy winner was on tour in the UK last year for her album ‘Sour’ and fans in the likes of London, Birmingham and Manchester should be expecting her return in 2024.

Adele – BACK ON HOME TURF

As the curtains close on Adele’s Las Vegas residency, attention has quickly turned to the possibility of an upcoming world tour. The thought of hearing her hugely successful hits live, such as ‘Someone Like You’, ‘Hello’ and ‘Rolling In The Deep’ has got music enthusiasts worldwide hooked.

She last played in stadiums across the UK during Adele Live 2017 and also performed at the Brit Awards last year. So, after a long break not touring the UK, her fans are eager to see Adele back on home turf and we predict tickets will be a quick sell-out.

Notable Mentions…

With some huge names in music already mentioned as artists we’re hopeful to see in 2024, there are plenty of artists with tours already in the diary including Celine Dion, Jonas Brothers and Kim Petras.

For pop fans, ‘The Swifties’ are delighted Taylor Swift is continuing her ‘Eras Tour’ well into 2024 after her shows this year, as expected, have been a huge success. Niall Horan will make various festival appearances this year and will begin his world tour in mid-February.

The rock scene has been blessed with Dave Grohl’s presence as Foo Fighters begin their world tour this month, which will make its way over to the UK at the the end end of January. Legendary British musician, Eric Clapton, is touring from September and will be on stages across the UK for just over two weeks.

The comedy lovers amongst you will be pleased to hear that Bolton royalty, Peter Kay, will continue his O2 residency performing monthly until April 2025. He will bring his comedy-infused musical performances to cities across the UK until the end of 2025.
