What are the 2023 driver changes?

After much anticipation, it has been confirmed that Oscar Piastri will be taking the place of Dan Ricciardo at McLaren for the 2023 season. Although Ricciardo will not be competing, he will still be in the paddock as Red Bull’s reserve driver. In addition, Logan Sargeant has earned enough points to be given an FIA super licence and will be taking part in Formula 1 driving for Williams.

Everyone is excited to see Nico Hülkenberg make his comeback to full-time Formula 1 racing after a two-year break, this time replacing Mick Schumacher at Haas. Hülkenberg began his F1 career in 2010 with Williams, and since leaving Renault at the end of 2019, has not taken part in a complete season of any motorsport. He will now be teaming up with Kevin Magnussen in 2023.

AlphaTauri has announced that Nyck de Vries will be joining the team starting in 2023! Pierre Gasly is set to transition to Alpine to race side-by-side with Esteban Ocon in the upcoming season. Although we are sorry to see Sebastian Vettel and Mick Schumacher depart from F1, we are thrilled to greet newcomers Logan Sargeant, Oscar Piastri and Nyck de Vries, along with Nico Hülkenberg who is re-joining us after two years away. Formula 1 is no stranger to the city of Las Vegas, having held the Caesars Palace Grand Prix during the 1981 and 1982 seasons. Unfortunately, the course set up in the parking lot of the Caesars Palace hotel wasn’t well-received by fans. Nevertheless, the sport will be making its triumphant return to the city in 2023.

Get ready to witness the cars speed by some of Las Vegas’s most renowned landmarks along the iconic Las Vegas strip. This is sure to be an exciting addition to the US Grand Prix in Austin and the Miami Grand Prix!
