Riverside Enclosure
The Riverside Enclosure has been established at Henley for over 20 years and has a reputation of capturing the perfect combination of top quality hospitality, live entertainment, great service and comfort, combining to create a memorable day in which to host clients, colleagues, friends or family. Situated in a prime location on the River Thames, opposite Temple Island and overlooking the Regatta course, the Riverside Restaurant is beautifully decorated with vibrant floral arrangements and fully co-ordinated tables, creating a stunning visual effect.
Henley’s top chefs have a reputation for offering carefully thought-out menus which are always favourably received by guests, many of whom return year on year. Enjoy a selection of delicious canapés with your Champagne or Pimm’s on arrival, followed by a sumptuous four-course luncheon and full afternoon tea, all of which have been carefully designed to create the perfect Henley Regatta dining experience. Private tables of 8, 10 or 12 are available within the Riverside Restaurant with shared tables available for smaller numbers.
When guests step out of the Riverside Restaurant, they are immediately in a large outside garden area, which runs alongside the river opposite Temple Island. Located on the racing and Stewards’ Enclosure side of the river, the garden area benefits from being immediately adjacent to the narrow section of water on which the Regatta course is located, so guests are incredibly close and within touching distance of the action on the water. The rowing is of a very high standard, attracting crews from around the world, amongst them international athletes, and even if it is not something you have experienced before, you will find yourself being caught up in this unique event.
The garden areas provide the perfect, relaxed setting in which to soak up the sunshine and network with clients alongside the river. With beautiful garden seating, parasols, stunning floral displays and an impressive teepee tent with circular bar serving Champagne, Pimm’s and other complimentary drinks throughout the day, The Riverside Enclosure is the perfect Henley location.
